Meet Katelyn Herne, Au.D.

Katelyn Herne, Au.D. is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Consortium Doctor of Audiology program, earning her Doctorate of Audiology in May 2025. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as minors in Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience.

Dr. Herne completed her 4th year externship in Norfolk, Virginia, at Eastern Virginia Medical School and the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, gaining experience in serving both adult and pediatric populations. Her areas of interest include diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages, hearing aid fittings, cochlear implant evaluations and fittings, management and treatment of tinnitus, and helping patients care for both their hearing and cognitive health.

Dr. Herne is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. She is excited to work in the Fox Valley and spends her free time reading, hiking, learning new crafts, and spending time with family.
